WEDDING FAQ’s

Do you travel for weddings and photo shoots?

I am based in central London; however, I travel all over the UK to shoot weddings and engagements.
Please note additional travel expenses are charged for weddings more than 80 miles outside of central London.

When will I receive my images?

For weddings, your images will be ready within 6-8 weeks during the peak season.
For couples/portrait sessions, your images will be ready in 2-4 weeks of your session.

How many photos do we receive?

This varies based on the number of hours of coverage, and the type of package that you have chosen.

How would you describe your style of wedding photography?

My style is very documentary focused, and I love to capture the natural candid moments throughout the day. During the wedding day we will arrange some private time together with just the bride and groom to capture those special intimate moments.

Do you take family and group photos on the wedding day?

Yes, if this is something you would like then we will factor some time into the day to capture these. I recommend limiting the number of group photos as it does take up quite a lot of time on the day to get everyone together.

What happens if it rains?

Weather is the only thing you have no control over on your wedding day so it is always a good idea to discuss a contingency plan ahead of time just incase. I have shot many wet weddings and it really doesn’t affect the day. We will embrace the rain and can find sheltered areas to shoot and even use umbrellas. These always look great in the rain and we can get some beautiful atmospheric shots and even a rainbow if lucky.

How would you describe your editing style?

I always want my images to feel timeless and I tend to stay away from current editing trends as these do not last the test of time. My colour images have rich warm tones and contrast to offer a refined and polished look. My black and white images feel crisp with deep blacks and strong contrast giving a classic feel like the original black and white film negatives.

Do you retouch the images?

With my wedding photography I like to keep the images as natural as possible to document the day. However, I also work as a commercial image retoucher so if required I can edit the images should this be something you request.

Can we meet before the wedding day?

Yes, whenever possible I like to meet couples before the wedding day as it is good to get to know each other and makes the experience more comfortable on the day. If this is not possible then video calls are always an option.

From there I can send over my pricing guide which contains more information about the various packages I offer, and we can then arrange a call to discuss.
